Part B.C. Policy 1

Membership Billing & Continuity Policy

1. Purpose

This policy establishes the terms governing membership billing, continuity of access, and service eligibility for Healthcare Navigation Systems Medical Clinic (“the Clinic”). It is designed to ensure transparency, regulatory alignment, and uninterrupted patient access to covered services.

2. Membership Structure

Memberships provide access-based care, not insurance coverage. Enrollment grants members the ability to request services made available under their selected plan, subject to:

  • Clinical appropriateness

  • Provider availability

  • Applicable laws and regulations

Membership does not guarantee unlimited services, specific treatments, or outcomes.

3. Billing Cycle

  • Membership fees are billed on a monthly recurring basis

  • Billing occurs automatically on the enrollment anniversary date

  • Fees apply regardless of service usage during the billing period

Membership access remains active only while the account is in good standing.

4. Payment Responsibility

Members are responsible for ensuring valid payment information is maintained at all times.

Failure to process payment may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of access

  • Administrative outreach for resolution

  • Termination of membership if unresolved

5. Service Continuity

Access to services is contingent upon:

  • Active membership status

  • Current billing compliance

  • Clinical eligibility

The Clinic reserves the right to delay or deny non-urgent services if membership status is inactive.

6. Non-Transferability

Memberships are non-transferable and apply only to the enrolled individual(s) specified at registration.

Unauthorized use may result in immediate termination without refund.

7. Changes to Fees or Structure

The Clinic may adjust membership pricing, features, or billing structure with advance notice.

Continued participation following notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

8. No Insurance Classification

Membership fees:

  • Are not premiums

  • Do not constitute insurance

  • Do not replace or supplement insurance coverage

Members remain financially responsible for services outside the scope of their plan.

9. Regulatory Compliance

This policy is governed by applicable state and federal healthcare regulations, including consumer protection and healthcare transparency standards.

10. Policy Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • Restricted access

  • Membership suspension

  • Termination at the Clinic’s discretion

Enforcement actions are taken to preserve care quality, fairness, and compliance.

11. Policy Review & Updates

This policy is subject to periodic review. Updates take effect upon publication and apply prospectively.

12. Acknowledgment

Enrollment in a membership program constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of Part B.C. Policy 1.
